We left Ft. Myers on October 20th to come to Titusville, Florida. We spent a couple of nights here before heading back to Texas to celebrate Mom's 80th (surprise!) birthday party and then up to Granbury to clean up the lakehouse and get it staged. All that was preplanned. What wasn't preplanned was that we would get a contract on the house just minutes before we got in the car to drive home. We've had it on the market since July but had no idea what condition it was in (we left it in March without even tidying it up). So instead of just cleaning it, we sold most of our belongings and put what was left in storage. The deal closed today. So we are now homeless!
We arrived back in Titusville Saturday night (Nov. 6th) after a wonderful evening with Mom, Dad and Alma on Friday. This is a beautiful park (Willow Lakes) with lots of moss covered trees...
and we've got a great site right on the golf course
(but protected from the golf ball missles by the trees).
Titusville is the home of Kennedy Space Center and we can watch the shuttle launch from our site. It's also a short hop to the beaches, Orlando, Daytona, St. Augustine and Port Canaveral.
Terry has taken a new job with RV Resort Solutions which will keep us here until March. He will be selling RV sites. We will miss the travel, but are very excited about the prospects here. The weather (so far...fingers crossed) has been perfect and Barklee spends most of his day outside greeting all the passersby (of which there are lots!). There is a gorgeous clubhouse complete with pool tables and a pool. We have met several of our neighbors already. Everybody is extremely friendly here!!
So that's it for now. Since we won't be moving around every two weeks, we probably won't be posting as often. We hope you have enjoyed our journey. We have truly enjoyed sharing it with you!

My partner Kris sells advertising for the major TV station in Maine. I'm an office manager for a small law firm. We desperately want to "retire" to a 5th wheel and workamp - we've researched and dreamed for 3 years and 2011 may be it! Kris was intrigued by the idea of working for AGS selling ads and we thought you guys might be with them or someone similar and could give us a "real" idea of what it would be like. Kris didn't think 2wks would be long enough to close deals, but that sounds like all the time you're given. Would you mind talking with us?
